Calculator Input Privacy: What We Do and Do Not Collect

Reviewed October 24, 2026. Our privacy promise is specific: the core tools calculate from financial inputs in your browser without requiring a lender lead form. It is not a claim that no information is processed when you visit the website.

Calculator inputs

Loan balances, payments, rate assumptions and budget amounts are used locally by the calculation code. Do not enter SSNs, bank details, tax documents or login credentials. No account is needed to use the core calculators. An educational estimate is not a credit application.

Advertising, cookies and hosting

The site uses advertising and hosting services. Those providers can process cookies, IP addresses, device information and logs under their own arrangements. Read the Privacy Policy for details and available controls. Browser privacy settings and ad controls can affect personalized advertising; they do not change the loan mathematics.

Downloads are your files

Selected tools offer local print, PDF or CSV output. Availability varies by calculator. A downloaded report may contain your assumptions, and you are responsible for where you store or send it. The absence of an upload does not make a shared file confidential.

No unverifiable claims about other publishers

Some financial services use contact forms and referral programs, while others do not. Check each site's disclosures rather than assuming every competing calculator sells leads. Our goal is to let you inspect a calculation without requiring your phone number or email.

Questions and corrections

Report a privacy or calculator issue through Contact. Include the URL and a description, not sensitive account data. We do not promise absolute anonymity or security: your device, browser extensions and third-party providers have their own behavior.
